Jason's career with the Military and Federal Law Enforcement has allowed him to instruct many different disciplines. Jason graduated from the University of West Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice before enlisting in the United States Marine Corps with 3rd Force Reconnaissance Co. Jason was able to attend courses with SOTG, Tier 1 Group (Advance Carbine, Tactical Combat Casualty Care, Concealed Weapons, Off Road/ Defensive Driving and Foreign Weapons), US Army Airborne School, and Anti-Terrorism/ Force Protection Officer training to name a few. During deployments Jason took part in Foreign Internal Defense missions training host nations in counter narcotics, scout swimmer techniques, land navigation, riverine operations, interdictions, TacMed, marksmanship and reconnaissance patrolling.
After his enlistment he started his Civilian Federal Serve with the Department of Justice as an FBI Special Agent, and as a Federal Agent with Department of Energy/ Office of Secure Transportation. He is a graduate of the FBI Special Agent Academy at Quantico and the OST Federal Agent Candidate Training Academy on Fort Chaffee. With this career he has been able to attend numerous training courses and instructional courses. Jason has been a Designated Marksman since 2015 and has attended the Designated Marksman Basic Course, Precision Rifle/ Forward Observer Course, Fieldcraft, and Precision Kinetics. His DM experience has allowed him to train and instruct at Camp Lejeune, Camp Pendleton, Camp Blanding, Camp Atterbury, Fort Knox, Fort Chaffee, Kirkland AFB, Fort Hood, Fort Mccoy and Fort Carson.
Jason has attended numerous instructor courses at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center which allows him to teach the following courses to LE and civilians: FLETC Firearms Instructor Training Program, Control Tactics Instructor, Use of Force Instructor, Tactics Instructor (CQB), Advance Pistol Training Program, Vehicle Ambush Countermeasures Training Program and Fitness Coordinator.
In 2021 Jason attended Emergency Medical Technician school and passed the National Registry to become a Federal Agent Medic. As an FA Medic he instructs Tactical Combat Casualty Care, is a "Stop the Bleed" instructor, and BLS/ CPR instructor (as a BLS instructor for the American Heart Assocation, Health Safety Institute, and American Red Cross). Jason also participates in Incident Management with ICS 100, 200, 300, IS 700 and 800, and has the Defense Threat Reduction Agency Incident Command and Control Certification. In order to receive the DTRA IC&C Certification students have to attend the Defense Threat Reduction Agency Nuclear Weapons Orientation Cours, Advance Weapons Operators Course, Nuclear Policy, Nuclear Weapons Incident Response Course, and the Joint DOD/ DOE Nuclear Surety Executive Course.
